RestorationAI Legal & Compliance Notice 1. Not a Public Adjuster. RestorationAI and its staff are not licensed public adjusters. We do not negotiate, settle, or adjust insurance claims on behalf of policyholders. Contractors using the platform must comply with their state's public-adjuster licensing rules. 2. Not Legal Advice. Nothing in the platform — including AI-drafted emails, suggested supplement line items, compliance lint warnings, or estimating outputs — constitutes legal advice. Consult a licensed attorney for legal questions. 3. Homeowner Submission Requirement. Insurance carriers are legally required to respond to the homeowner. The homeowner must submit all formal communications and documentation to the carrier. The contractor may assist with preparation only. 4. Estimating Assistance Only. Waste calculations, ventilation NFVA recommendations, ice-and-water shield quantities, supplement suggestions, and template line items are estimating aids. Final material orders and labor scopes must be verified on-site by a qualified professional. 5. AI Outputs Are Drafts. AI-assisted features produce drafts that require explicit user review and approval before they are sent, signed, or submitted. Forbidden topics (coverage determinations, legal advice, scope-of-work guarantees) are blocked at generation time but the user remains responsible for the final content. 6. Carrier and Adjuster Contact Information. Carrier and adjuster contact details displayed in the platform are provided for convenience and may be out of date. Verify before use. 7. Document Authenticity. Uploaded carrier scopes, denial letters, and photos are processed as-received. RestorationAI does not authenticate the source of uploaded documents. 8. Plan Gating. Some features are limited by subscription plan. Plan changes may add or remove access to features and data export options. 9. Subprocessors. RestorationAI uses third-party services (cloud hosting, transactional email, large-language-model inference, payment processing). A current list is available on request. 10. Compliance Updates. State and federal regulations change. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the platform complies with current law in every jurisdiction where you operate.
